89 rebuilt 50hp Force

I'm collecting info on this motor. I have an option for completely rebuilt in 06 and used for break in period and thrn used a total of 15 times. I also have an option for a 69 johnson 55hp. Both run. The force is 450 and the johnson is 375. Any help is greatly appreciated. If this is not the right forum please point me in the right direction.

If needed the boat is a 79 starcraft american 15.

Go with the newer motor.
Salt water? Location?
69 is 45 years old and the lower units and other parts???
The force is 25 and parts are everywhere.

I'm in upstate NY. I had a feeling and I always hear about the debates of force motors etc. So I thank you for the reply.

NOT a thing wrong with Forces or Chrysler.
They are an easy basic motor.
I've been running them for 25 years and would still buy one.
