89 tracker magna 17

looking at a 89 tracker magna 17 and have been reading about all of hull leaking on newer tracker boats so is this all trackers or certin years? it cant be all trackers. Help please shed some light on this issiue.

I'm new to boating but I bought a 89 tracker magna 17 last year. I had it out many times with two people and it never got any water in it. I had it out once with four large people, gear, full livewell in some chop, and it did get some water in it. but it wasn't nothing a couple seconds of bilge would have taken care of ( if i'd even noticed). it may have gotten the water in it backing into some waves when i first put the boat in. like i said, i'm a rookie boater.

i think it's not uncommon for a riveted hull to get some water in it.

i'm pretty happy with my tracker, although mine is a work in progress type situation.

Thanks for you response. but i decided aginst that boat and ended up with a 1986 bayliner Trophy 1910
