I have a Yamaha 1989 85hp engine that is overheating. I can run the engine all day long a little above half throttle and it does fine. It only overheats when I run the engine at 3/4 to full throttle. Running it at 3/4 or full throttle it only takes about 5 minutes and it overheats and the alarm goes off. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and then it cools down the alarm goes off and is fine so long as I do not run it past a little over half throttle. The motor has been serviced recently and I have had a new water pump put in recently. The water indicator is always spraying a steady stream of water. I am confused and new to this, so any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you time and help.
Thanks,
Bryan
