I recently bought a 1985 8hp Johnson. I noticed that when running the motor water comes out the telltale when it wants to. Sometimes it is just steam and sometimes a nice steady stream of water. I also noticed that when I put my finger in the stream it is extremely hot. Do I need to replace the impeller or thermostat? Or is this normal.
