9 1/2 Evinrude

I have a 1972 evinrude 9 1/2 hp on a old 14 ft alumacraft semi v hull and i get to about 9 mph on the water i was wondering what other speeds others got with the 9 1/2 horse on similar boats?

how is theengine performig ??? 9.5hp are not flaming draggons.

Post compression values and check for spark.-----Might be running on 1 cylinder.

If it’s running right you could try moving the tilt angle up or down to see if that makes any difference.
