Having trouble with flooding at start up.Saw where the right plug to use for this motor is J6C. I would like to know what the gap setting is...thank you

The recommended plug is still the J4C. Either plug would be set at .030.

Some owners have reported using J6C with some improvement on engines with badly worn rings.

i run J6C, gives just a little better performance, does not foul as bad. gapped .030, if you idle a lot trolling, open to .035 if still fouling .040, but that is the most. will be a little hard to cold start at .040.

flooding at start up, don't use a much choke.
