Hey gang, been gone for a while after selling my I/O. Now I got a fishing boat to tae the kids out in, here's my questions. 1. I got a free 9.6 sea-king from a buddy at work, says it needs a fuel pump diapragm kit, got a supplier right in my area gottem for about 9 bucks. Anything I need to know about this or does someone have a print on it(since I'm fairly new to OB). 2. it's a short shaft and I "should" have a long shaft, half to 3/4's of the prop is below the boat and it will sit well in the water, any problems running it like this on small lakes(very little to no other boat traffic) I have a really nice trolling motor and thats all we used last year(we have a lake that does not allow gas engines).

What do ya'll think?

Re: 9.6 Sea-King

Only thing I can comment on is the depth of the prop in the water. Probably will cavitate and won't suck up water for cooling.
