9.8 110 no spark on top cylinder

I have a 75 110 9.8hp Serial number 4126582 that has no spark to the top cylinder. I have a good spark to the lower cylinder. I have swapped spark plug wires and spark plugs around with no change. It occurred after the motor warmed up so I thought coils and swapped ignition coils around but no change. Still no spark on the upper cylinder and I am at a loss as were to go next. Is it possible it is the trigger or the switch box that is the cause and how can I test each if they are a possibility. Thanks

welcome aboard,<br />had a '74 that had junk wires coming from stator<br />and trigger some years back (cracked/corroded)<br />i would start there.<br />manuals r for sale at bottom of page or local lib.<br />for test proceedures.<br />good luck,<br />M.Y.
