9.9 Merc cooling problems

I have a 9.9 merc 2000yr that will not take in and discharge water. I tried changing out the impeller already. You can feel air come out but no water still.

Haven't done a 2000 lately,but if it overheated badly,the water tube grommet under the powerhead may be distorted,impedeing water flow.<br /><br />DHP
