I had a Merc. shop replace the seals in my lower unit and replace the water pump at the first of summer 2010, I just got around to putting it back on the boat this week and no water from the pee hole, I removed the T stat. and no water just smoke, stuck a hose in the T stat. hole and ran water till it pressured back out, put it back together and now have water out the pee hole.
ever heard of this before?
also ran the motor for a minute or so before finally got water to the pee hole although the lower end was submirged in water, think this would have hurt anything??
