Ok, I have a 90 force 50hp outboard motor on a 90 bayliner. When i turn the key, it will not try and crank. Sometimes it will not crank then will fire up the engine out of nowhere The battery is 100% charged. Even tried another fully charged battery and it still does the same thing. Sometimes it will crank ober but with a tiny bit of drag but sometimes, I turn the key and nothing. Is it the starter, sylanoid, key. I just dont know. Its like theres no juice but the battery is good.

Check the grounds on the engine block. They may be loose.

Test light???
Does it click when it won't start or no noise?
Test at both posts on the solenoid when the key is turned.
The neutral safety switch on the motor(yellow/black wire)could be out just enough that it needs the shifter wiggled.
Does it run OK after it starts?
A bit of WD-40 in the key switch?

I can pull the flywheel and it runs perfect. When i turn the key, it wont make a sound with an occasional turn of the flywheel. Ut just a tiny short bit.

Take a look inside the starter. Somebody the other day had an issue where one of the brushes had dropped out of place or something, with similar symptoms to yours.

Ok,start with pull the plugs and try turning over.
This relieves all the pressure from the starting system.
Try taking the starter apart and cleaning.
Post some pics of the starter, apart.
Make sure the connections are all ok.
Do the test light and post the results.
Try turning the key and wiggling the shifter?

Sounds like for sure you need to be having a look inside that starter. It's not hard to take off and take apart and there's probably threads around here with pictures of the process.

If you get yours apart and post pics for Jerry to see, I'm sure he can walk you through what to do to it to get it back to 100%. Good luck:)
