90 HP 1990 Force

Does this motor have a warning sound when it starts to overheat ??:
When I started it up last week in a tank of water it did not seem to discharge any water and I let it run for just a little and I hear this sound like a siren.confused:

I ordered impeller kit which will get installed when it arrives. Also plan to put the line on the block so I can see if it is indeed pumping water real good.

Yes all later model forces that operate with a key,Should have a buzzer that sounds when it gets hot.
Always a good idea to install the whizzer tube. J
