90 hp exhaust manifold will it fit to 110hp

Will a flat back manifold from a 1988 90 hp fit on a 110hp and still run ok. As i dont need the extra power of a high perfomance manifold fitted to the 110hp and am in the process repairing water leaks

Sure no problem.-Make sure you remove the filler blocks too.

You can swap manifolds. (As long as you also remove the metal exhaust filler blocks on the exhaust chest-just as racerone indicated.)Once you do that, it's possible that the carbs may overfuel the engine slightly. Don't know if it will run WOT perfectly or not.

We are not sure what motor you have or what work was done in the past !---Filler blocks on the bubble blocks guide exhaust into the exhaust manifold.-----If in fact filler blocks are installed in your motor they need to be removed if you put the flat exhaust plate on it.-----Pictures alway help when mixed up parts are used on motors.

motor has done a lot of work and has been reconditioned by previous owner, I use is for short sea fishing trips about 10km, always flushed although mains water here is full of calcium and no one drinks it.
