my engine was running great after getting it out of the shop this season for about 2 mo. Then the next time I took it out I lost the upper end. It wasn't any speeder on it's best day, about 35 tops. but now It just get to a plane. After checking it out it looked liked I had water in the top cylinder because that plug was really clean so I changed both the head and exhaust gasgets. but still no change. I'm not sure if my block is bad or what. what I really want to do is put a new motor (biiger hp) in this boat because I really like the hull design of this boat but I'm not sure what or if I should spend more money on it. does anyone know if a 120 force motor will fit on a 90 hp sportjet trans. is the pinion a differet size. if anyone can I'd be appec.

I "think" a Force 120 will fit on the 90 jet drive. May want to look to see if its a different drive ratio and impeller.

Check out www.sportjetworld.com for more info.

Ken

Pull the intake and check the reeds. Bad reed on that cylinder will cause water to be pulled into cylinder. Minor job to pull intake, be careful and
can use same gasket.
