I have a 1998 90HP Mercury on my 1998 17' Nitro.<br />The problem I have is that the boats starts fine but when I try to put it in gear it shuts off whether it's forward or reverse. I have to Idle the motor high and then put in gear as it's coming down once if's goes the boat run great. it's just when you go from neutral to forward or reverse. any advise would be great.<br />thank you <br />eli
