90 hp oil tank leak

I've got a '95 Yamaha 90hp 2 stroke. I have cleaned and found the source of oil leakage when the engine sits. I keep the engine in the down position and found the oil level sender cap is leaking where it fits onto the tank.
Any suggestions for a fix or is the entire sending unit/cap going to need replacement?

depending on material and exact location and size of leak maybe try epoxy, but probably should just get a new cap. Many of the Yamaha replacement parts are made of fine gold, or at least they're priced that way. Good Luck!
