I noticed that a magnet came off of my flywheel (found several pieces laying in the bottom of the boat.) It's not running well at high RPM's. I guess the missing magnet is the culprit. From what I have read, I guess the flywheel has to be replaced and the magnets can't be bought and put on. Does anyone know if this is true or are there other options? Also, I can see where the red shielding on the stator got rubbed away from a piece of the magnet. Thinking about just putting some RTV sealant around it to keep the moisture out. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
