90 IMP 23ft 5.7l?????

i was wondering if this is a good deal the boat looks good on the pics talked to the marina that is selling and talked them down to 5700 cash. Want to know if imps are good boats because i know they don't make them any more and if anyone has ever dealt with advantage marine at the lake of the ozarks. I just hope i don't drive 5 hrs and its junk. just tell me if you guys think its worth the drive.

Lokks like a really nice indoor kept bowrider, The King cobra would be the deal breaker being an obsolete drive and all, but you could use that to your advantage if your inclined enough to do your own wrenching. If everything is in the shape of whats photographed then heck yes I would have a closer look for sure.

I own a 1988 IMP 27 foot Liberty. I havent owned it long, but have been in and out of most of it. It appears to be built very similar to most of the midrange cruiser boats. I would say if it was well cared for it will be a good boat. The price actually looks fair too.

I suggest you do a search on the King Cobra Drive here before you make the trip.

first of all i want to thank everyone for there opinons on this boat. I'm just getting fusterated that every boat i look at gets sold the same day it comes out if seems like. 4 very nice boats have slipped throuh my fingers.

And 1 more question i know it may not be the right area but i have this post already going. If the lower end goes out can i replace it with any thing like a volvo or merc, and vise versea on the motor thx.
