Please help<br /><br />97/90HP Mariner losing power mid range. Motor surge occurs at about 3000-4000 RPM.<br />When this happens - open throttle fullout and the motor powers away. Will run nicely from 4000RPM up.<br />When I throttle back to 3500RPM the motor surges and power drops off. When I open the throttle away we go!<br /><br />The motor starts okay but idles rough and is rough up through the mid range.
