Been trying to drop lower unit to change and inspect impeller and seals. 2001 90ELPTO. Serial Number OT277053<br /><br />All five bolts removed, 4 in rear and one under cavitation plate in front of trim tab. <br /><br />Seems to be stuck in the center, possibly the shaft being stuck and wont budge. Even tried running motor to heat it up. Beat - pried - only doing damage to plate and thin metal. <br /><br />Done a search - the only solution posted was invert and pour deisel fuel as solvent. <br /> <br />Any other suggestions without tearing it appart!
