90 Merc. Throttle Tension Control?

Have a new 2004 2cycle 90 HP Merc. with a Mercury binnacle control. Took the cover off the shifter to find a tensioning screw but couldn't find it. Is there one?<br /><br />Also, is it normal for this engine to vibrate a lot at about 2k RPM? (Smooth as silk above and below!)<br /><br />Steve

My 2004 90Hp Merc Vibrates at that rpm Too,I dont if that is Normal are what

I talked to my dealer about the vibration and he said that at about 2 K RPM the second carburator starts to kick in and it's not a totally smooth transition. I guess that means It'l always be rough at that speed. Don't know if he's blowing smoke or not! <br /><br />S

I have a 2002 90hp (2 stroke) and have never noticed a vibration at 2000 rpm. Will be paying more attention next time out.
