90hp Trim Tilt on a 70hp Trim Tilt

Hi, I have a 1988 90hp Yamaha with a siezed piston. I have the opportunity to purchase a 1991 70hp Yamaha with a good powerhead but a bad trim tilt unit. Can I use the 1988 90hp trim tilt on the 1991 70hp engine? Is it as simple as a plug and play? Thank you!
