I have a 2003 Yamaha 90 TLRB that won't turn off at times when the ignition is turned off. I have been able to diagnose to what I believe is a CDI unit problem. However I thought I would post here just to make sure.
While it was acting up I grounded the white wire at the CDI unit which usually shuts it down when working properly. I grounded the wire to the block and battery with no results. I have pulled all the ground wires, cleaned them and resecured all connections. Also, It seems to act up more cold.
I also have two grease fittings on the engine that won't accept grease. I have pulled the zert fittings and they check ok. Any help would be apreciated.
