My motor idles at like 1700-1900 then when you engage the throttle it goes down to 1000. It also would not keep up high RPM when crusing the ball for the fuel kept getting soft. I checked for leaks and found none. Then all of the sudden it took off again and I think that the fuel issue is fixed. I am still going to replace the fuel filter. It still does idle fast though. What is the normal idle speed? I think it is a 1988 where do I find out the year? Thanks<br /><br />jon
