'91 200 XP Evinrude won't start

I am a first time boat owner and I am having a problem. I turn the boat over and sometimes it will fire and run for a few seconds, then it dies. I checked the spark and it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. I also noticed the plugs have a lot of fuel on them. I have changed plugs and tried the WD-40 trick. I have tried all I know and can't figure it out. PLEASE HELP!!!

Lot's of fuel is because of lack of fire.<br />If it is not always sparking chec your wires and coils.
