91 Suzuki DT40 2 cycle

Recently purchased a small skiff with a Suzuki DT40 on it. Engine placard reads DT40.

All ref to this engine on this forum seem to have a c following the DT40. What does this mean? This model has no power trim. I am thinking that maybe it has something to do with acc or options? Am I safe in ordering a carb kit for a DT40c?

Hi Giddyupgo,
I woul suggest you break down one of your carbs and compare gaskets to the picture on this site in "motor parts" and see if they match. That way you have no doubts. Good luck.

You need to look up you motor using the serial #

I believe the c means that it's oil injected ...is it?
