91 Yamaha Big Bear Quad ignition

Hi gents<br />Does anyone have a schematic for a 91 Yamaha big bear quad? My neighbor at the lake lost ignition and the locals say its the stator. I'd like to check it for him before he commits to a $600 stator. A schematic would sure help....It would be nice to have one before I go out there.<br /><br />Thanx

are you talking about four wheeler or a boat part if four wheeler i'll probably have one. hope i am not to dumb here

I have a shop manuel for those cause i own one but if won't start there is a ing. fuse hide under the seat in the very back. if it won,t charge i would say its the stator but will find a sch. for you since this is atv big bear country<br /><br />Schematic went to my shop and ckd manual it does not have sch. to stator but do have a friend that workes on atv's will ck with him tommorrow and see if he has one will copy if he has.

Hey schematic, I sent you one part of the stator test, but the other part would not go cause your mail box was full.<br /><br />If you still need it, let me know and I can post it on here.

Thanks SBN, BBKT and Bear.<br />Just got back. The CDI charge coil was open circuit. Was lucky to find an aftermarket one for half price.<br /><br />Thanks for the special effort SBN.... IOU one!<br />
