There are what appears to be 3 small vent holes on each side of the gear housing pointing downwards around where the bolts attach to the motor leg. There is grease coming out these holes and that never happened before. Last season I installed a pump impeller and ran fine after with no leaks of grease. I even have a force service manual for my model and it does not even mention those holes. Strange thing is these vent holes are below the fill and vent screws. Looking for advice on what those vent holes are actually for and if the grease leaking is normal or not. THANKS !!!!

If it is gearlube leaking out, not normal.

But you are probably referring to the small drain/weep holes that allow all the water to drain out of the leg.
Often times, there is exhaust residue from the leg, that drips out of these holes. Normal.

So, if its gearlube, check it out.
If its unburnt fuel and exhaust soot, smells like fuel, looks dark, normal.
