93 15 hp, switch box???

got my tech information manual today. regarding the ignition system, how do you test the switch box? the manual goes over checking stator, trigger, coils, but not the switch box. all items check out to be within specs with a ohmeter, but i have no way of checking the switch box.
if i have spark, is the switch box working? i cant seem to start the motor, and i think the problem is the switch box.
how do i check this?

Hi,

If you have spark you arre probaly ok.
You ned a DVA Meter to read output power
to check the switch box.
So do you have spark?
Are the spark plugs wet or dry.
If dry try putting a teaspoon of fuel in each hole
put the plugs back in and try starting it up.
Did it fire then?
ect.

i thought i have spark........... the plugs have some spark. i sprayed fuel into the chamber, but still cant get it started. even tried starting fluid.
i broke the kill switch, and thinking maybe this has something to do with the no start?
most frustrating.
