Whatever you do, don't toss the pump. Rebuild it with a new diaphram from http://www.then-now-auto.com/fuel-pump-repair-kits/

I have pictures that I can upload at a later time. At this point, rebuilding your pump is your only option. I bought two kits a couple years ago, I think they were about $60 each. You will need to drill a 1/16" hole in the side of the pump to allow the use of a punch to drive the pivot pin out from the housing. Again, I have pictures, but I will have to upload them later. Ethanol sucks, I bet you will have a ton of corrosion around your check valves when you open it up.

My advice is to soak your diaphragm screws with penetrant thoroughly before trying to remove them. In the event that you strip the threads out, don't worry, replace them with longer stainless screws and nylon lock nuts. Don't worry, all is not lost. :)

I wish I could have posted other pictures from my album, but the website is fighting me all the way through the process. I'll be posting in the Website Issues forum later. Hopefully my pictures illustrate where to drill and how to take it apart. Good luck.

I have the same setup as you, 93 Ford 5.0 Cobra V8. The M60389 will work. I have one on my engine, and it works fine, but you will need to rotate the base to get the fuel lines to line up. I've had it installed since 2016.
