93 force 120 ignition woes

I got a 120 force from my dad. It was running when it came off his bayliner. I put it on my boat, wired it up and no spark. I rewired it and still no spark. I am sure I have it wired correctly ( this time ) but I think I burnt up something. The books I have are no help ( one has no trouble shooting guide, the other doesnt accuratly show my ign. system ). Any help would be greatly appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks

Is the lanyard switch hooked up on the control box.<br /><br />Should be a little red button.<br /><br />TMD

There is a lanyard switch. It is hooked up, and is working.

Is the battery hooked up properly?<br /><br />Unfortunately...you need a DVA tester to test the ign.<br /><br />Its most likely the Stator or PowerPack that has failed.<br /><br />TMD

Yes the battery is hooked properly ??? Neg on black, red on positive. I will have a dva tester today.
