93 force 40 idle issues

hey friends. I have a 93 force 40 2 cyl that will not idle unless I completely remove the idle mixture screw. When I do that it idles but kinda rough. Any ideas? I've cleaned the carb, pulled and checked reeds, has good spark , and right around 120psi in both holes. I'm stumped. Also if I disconnect fuel line and let it run out it idles great right b4 it runs out of fuel with the screw 1.5 turns out.

Also it all started while on the water the first time out . Idled good and ran good about 5 or 10 min then kinda started to surge and the ability to idle was gone

Check the fuel pumps diaphragm.
Then see if the screws holding the port covers are tight.
Sounds like the gaskets on the port covers might be bad?
Or the seal between the cylinders on the crank is bad/broken?
Maybe a cracked block?

Diaphragm has hole in it .. thanks for the advice Jerry
