94' 9.9 water pump housing?

Hey everybody I have a 94 9.9, I was replacing the water pump housing , Their was a small rubber o-ring that I lost, that I think go's around the bushing on top of the water pump, do I need a new o-ring or is it fine without it? Thanks

Try the PL on BRP Evinrude website. # 58 is a seal, not an O ring. Don't see any O ring for your motor.

It could have been the O-Ring upper drive shaft spline grease seal. If so, just grease the spline well & re-assemble
