Thanks! So simply remove the thermostat cover and gasket and remove the spring and thermostat and put the cover and gasket back on?

Correct. The t-stat is a single unit item. I'm not sure what you meant by spring unless you are referring to the spring which is a basic or core part of the t-stat. Post a pic of the t-stat when you can just to make sure we are all talking on the same page.

The 94/120 has a spring holds the thermo in place.
It should have a spacer and rubber grommet to?

Well, it appears finally corrected, resolved. Took it back to original dealer, they found it needed a new water pump housing, something about the original one may look good but its not(warped??). Replaced that and its all good now. Good water flow from the discharge(tell tale) and not scalding hot water, exhaust cover it not hot even after a hard run at 3/4 throttle or more, and it can idle for long periods of time with out any overheat alarm at any time.

The original deal only replaced the impeller????
That's a new one !!

They usually sell you the most expensive thing right out the gate.

Check the original bill and see what they charged you for?

I worked with a guy who would replace the impeller and tell them they got a complete pump.
Then use/sell the new on his side jobs:(
