I noticed last time out that my lower end had a leak stain coming from where you put the muffs on. I figure I'll change out the seals and fluid to be safe. Anyone know what seals I'll need to do this? I'd guess there is a kit for this (I'm hoping there is). Any advice on doing this would be great as well. 1994 Force 70hp.

Before getting too excited ,drain the gear lube and check for water.
Does it look like coffee with cream or is water present?
Speaking generically you'll need a drive shaft seal, prop shaft, and shift rod seal. The force experts may be able to help with specifics.
I believe there are seal kits available here at Iboats.

Ok, checking for water was first on the list. If there is no water present, should I change the seals anyway as a precaution? I don't know when the previous owner did it last, if ever. Because of my marina's rules, I have to do all lower unit work at night. How many hours should I plan? I'm fairly mechanically capable.
