for the 2nd time now someone at night feels the need to 'play' with my trim switch until my trim stops working. last time the mechanic told me it was the circuit breaker for the trim motor. could someone please tell me where exactly this is located so i can test it. also, any other ideas? i get no movement up or down.

Re: 94 mariner 75hp trim breaker

I don't know of a breaker. There should be inline glass fuses somewhere under the hood in fairly plain sight. It might not be someOne but someThing. A common problem is rainwater getting into a boat-mounted trim switch and corroding the switch until it makes enough contact to trip a relay. I run into a few of those each year. Just last year I was looking at one boat when another started trimming itself all the way up and wouldn't shut off. I had to disconnect the battery. That one was an Evinrude with a switch on the side that was doing it.
