Hello all,
Recently aquired a 94 BW Rage 15 Jet. It has the 115 JEER engine. I have taken it out a few times and it seemed very underpowered. Had idling issues and the exhaust seemed like it was burning very rich. I replaced the old gas and changed the spark plugs hoping for a quick fix.
Last time out, the s.l.o.w. Rpm limiter was triggered. Apparently the overheat alert horn system does not work properly.
After reading through the forums, I tested the compression. I am no mechanic, but I assume these results are not good.
30, 120, 105, 90.
Any thoughts on where to go next? Does this sound like a head gasket issue or is it worse than that? Thanks in advance.
