Hello again, Maybe someone out there can help me with this problem? I have rebuilt the motor and have nearly all new elctronics on this motor. It starts and idles fine even rev's good. When I put it in the water an run about 1 minute the engine starts to miss and then slows to where it wont even stay on plane. It never dies completely, just losses power. I changed the coils and made no difference! I wonder if the floats are sticking closed and starving the engine for gas?? I have watched the fuel filter and it stays full! I heard these things have a problem with sticking floats? Is that sticking closed or open ?? Any thoughts would be appriciated. I'm about to light a match to this thing....HAHA
I did get the cavitation problem fixed that I wrote about earlier..

Check the vent hose's spray carb cleaner down where the hose hooks to the carb.pull the plugs and turn the motor over (take precautions for no spark back there. wrap the ends of the plugs with black tape found out the hard way sea rayder go boom fire extinguisher was close) get all of the cleaner out. I would let it set in the bowl for a while first. If that don't work check your needles they seem to get stuck even if the floats drop.

Or, you can post this in the Force/Chrysler forum as the 90 and 120 sportjets are actually Force powerheads
