I have an older Yam 90 which leaves a drop or two of Hyd. fluid the floor when left slighty tilted for several days. This has been going on for the last year or so, and I'm sure fluid needs to be added at this point. Where does the fluid get added and the level checked?

There is a large diameter bolt head in the resevoir. Trim the motor all of the way up to reach it. If on a trailer, put the tongue on the ground to get the best angle. Power steering fluid will work fine.

Ray
I have a 2001 C90 that needs a little fluid, as in fixing my trimNtilt creep (see other post) some leeaked out. There is a large diameter threaded screw on the left rear of the motor (facing the bow) and a smaller diameter slotted bolt on the top right of the assembly (oriented vertically).
Whcih one do you recommend for filling the reservoir?
Thanks
Dave
