94 Yamaha 90TLRS rough idle then stalls when warm

I have a 1994 Yamaha 90TLRS which runs great at all speeds.

When I first start it cold it idles a bit high & a bit rough. After running it for a while, when I put it in neutral the idle drops way down and usually stalls. I have to play with the primer handle and get it in gear quickly to keep it running.

I am new to this forum & this is my first boat so please be patient. I am hoping there is a simple mixing adjustment that will cure this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Same thing was happening to me with my 225 yamaha. Found out it was the pilot screws. I dont know if it is your same problem but thats something to look at.
