good morning all,can anyone enlightnen me as to the purpose of the 2 D shaped "reliefs" just above the wrist pins on both sides.. piston # is 785-9737t11.wiseco makes these for mercury exclusevely i'm guessing...in their consumer catalog they offer the same piston without the reliefs,but i'm leary of using them...engine is efi so rejetting just 2 cyls.is out...any info would be appreciated.......
