Re: 95 70hp Carb Question

you just turn it upside down and it will drop the float, it should be even with the carb body. meaning the float should stop to where its even (laterally) with the carb body.

if its off you adjust the float by just gently bending it to compensate...if the float is off to where its letting too much gas in the bowl, it will spit out the throat like you say.

its basically flooding.

so let me see if i read you right, the float, upside down, should be "level" with the top edge of the bowl.

Re: 95 70hp Carb Question

parallel...sorry

there will be a bit of space, but the space from the float to the top of the carb housing when flipped over should be even.

does that help?
