95 celebrity out drive

I have a 95 celebrity 18ft open bow with a 4.3vortec the out drive is a 1.62 ratio with a 14.5x19 3blade prop. I feel like it just over revs it feels like no hole shot and then propspin. I don't know how to explain this any help guys thanks I am new to this

Make sure your out drive is trimmed all the way down(in) on take off and until you're up on plane with some speed before you trim it out at all.

It is possible that your prop's rubber hub is damaged and slipping under load. Your motor must turn between 4400 and 4800 rpm at WOT(wide open throttle).

It does sound like a spun hub.
You can check it by drawing a water proof line across the hub and body and doing a test run.
If the line is broken the hub is spun.
