I have a problem and I am hoping someone can help us. We have a boat that is having carb problems. The motor is a 95 70hp Chrysler force. The carb is a Tillotson TC111A 321749061. For my searching, the part is obsolete. I can not find one anywhere. We are not boat people. This is our first one, and it has been very frustrating. When we start the boat, it is dumping gas out the carb and will not stay running. If he holds his hand over the carb intake, the boat runs much better, but his hand is covered in gas. Any ideas, or suggests on finding the replacement carb?

i would say ebay for the carb....this looks to be one but you would want to email them for the numbers - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Force-Mercu...ash=item1c6adb538d:g:7V0AAOSwxp9W9BoM&vxp=mtr

i would imagine there are a few models that will work.

BUT before you do that you should try replacing the fuel pump diaphrapm (maybe it's flooding) - is it smoking alot ??

or it might be possible that the float is set wrong on the carb or the needle and seat is worn out and not sealing.

I'm sure other will comment that are more knowledgeable than me on this particular issue.

Have you even tried rebuilding the carb very seldom do you need to replace one.
