95 Force 120 ignition switch wiring[/h]

I have a 95 Force 120 which I bought that came with a wiring harness. I found a diagram that shows the wiring for the wiring from the engine wiring harness plug to the different components. When I connected to the harness that came with the engine some of the wires change color. What I’m looking for is a diagram that shows the wiring from the engine connector forward toward the ignition switch. I don’t need just the colors that connect to the switch, i need to know where the wires go from the switch through the connector at the engine and then to the components. The attached pic shows what I have. ​

Switches are standard and with the standard Mercury wiring color codes.

Thanks legalfee but my switch is not wired. It has 6 posts, A,M,C,S,B and another M. Also as I said the wire colors change at the main harness to the engine harness.

Gotta admit, its a little confusing as to what you're actually saying/asking. Are you trying to determine how to wire that ignition switch up correctly or are you saying the wiring harness you received with the boat is not, in fact, the one that was made for it?

I’m trying to wire up the 120 force with the harness that came with it into my boat that has a brown force 90.

Additional info the 120 is a 1995 and the 90 is a 1992.
