95 Force engine miss WOT

Hi All,
i am looking at buying a 24 ft pontoon w/70hp force that has a miss at WOT.Unit has been tuned and had lower end repairs. Runs good at idle and midrange.Thanks

New info-we went out yesterday and noticed there's a lot of turbulent water on the front side of the motor. So much that it covers the motor mount area. i talke dto a pontoon owner and he mentioned the motor could be setting too low. I'm hoping this could be related to the "engine miss". BTW= my tach doesn't go higher than 1000 so not able to diagnose with it.
