95 marada zx-1? looking to buy first boat

Does any one know anything about these boats. i'm looking to buy my first boat and have been looking around and this is one of the best ones i have seen. Missed out on a 97 sea ray. 3.0l in it the boat is real clean inside and out. ran good off the hose havent seen it on the water yet. hope to on sunday. want to find out if these where well made boats. the guy said they were on the same level as sea ray when they where still makeing them but i have know idea. he is asking 7150 but i think i can talk him down 500 or so. thx for any info.

ok the sea ray i'm looking at isn't sold. its a 1997 175 bowrider and the guy wants 7500 he is pretty frim on the price i think just as good as shape too. hope to ride on this sunday also. 3.0 l in it also. the sea ray has a normal prop and the marda has a wicked look 5 fin prop on it that the guy said was a 500 prop but i don't know. he said it help with getting skiers out any help on either on would help thanks. i just want to get on the water.

imho, both boats are overpriced, and the 3.0 is underpowered for water sports. i would want a 4.3L

Both are quality boats, either would be fine and should serve you well. That said a sea test will be the best tie breaker. Ans the five bladed prop will give you added performance on the low end..................however it will also loose a little yop end............................my .02 penc FWIW
