95 maxima lower ball joint

I'm having a problem removing the ball joint from the lower control arm.. it has a cir clip on it which I removed but still can't' get it to budge..it is probably pressed into the control arm in addition to the cir clip.. any you folks have any tips? Thanks...

You'll Probably Need a Balljoint Press,........<br /><br />Using a BFH,.. Usually leaves Too Much collateral Damage to the Control Arm.............

Thanks Bondo, thats the way it's kinda shakin out, I tried beating it out for about 10 mins and it did'nt budge.. I then removed the control arm and took it to the local boys and they pressed it out and pressed the new one in. didn't blink twice. anyway all went back together like a piece of cake and all is good...<br />Kevin, I used a fork to separate the joint from the knuckle but how would you use the fork to actually remove the base of the joint from the contol arm? It was pressed in with a 20 or 30 ton press.. thanks folks..
