'96 225 merc exhaust plate

what is the normal # of labor hours billed for replacing an exhaust plate?<br />i was quoted 6 hrs.<br />that seems high to me.

Don't know abut your motor but I have an 85 150 merc and it took me about 2 hours to take it off replace the gasket and re-torque.<br />CU<br /><br />------------------<br />RUNNING THE MOTOR WHILE LISTENING TO THE HORN WILL MAKE YOU MORN!!
