96 40hp force tach

I have searched the forums and have been unable to find an answer to my question. I would like to add a tach for my pontoon. Does anyone have an idea what kind I should be looking for? And how to determine what will work with my ob. I have the seloc online manual but haven't found anything in there that helps much.

Yea Teleflex will have what you need. Just make sure it's the right one for your motor.I believe your tach is a 6 pole.
